"My you look so pretty today, my Izuku." Overhaul gently touches the boy's skin with his bare hand, a shiver resonating through him. Izuku, perfect as he is, does not move, hardly blinks as Kai arranges him as he wants. ... /before/

Kai meets Izuku when the child is 6 years old. The Boss had him in a meeting with a groveling man who stood in front of a woman and her child.

"My wife would do well enough in any of your institutions! She's pretty enough for any of the brothels you own, or could cook or clean!"

"And your child?"

"Well he's not good for much. Maybe a drug mule? He's quirkless you know so it's not like he can do much."

Hearing a man give up his family to pay off his debt to the yak wasn't new but Kai tensed when he heard the child was /perfect/, untouched by mad biology.

The Boss snorted, leaning back as he watched the man squirm. "Two bodies doesn't quite cover what you owe us. They will be sufficient down payment. I certainly expect that you return what else is owed in due time."

The woman sobbed holding onto her child more fiercely even as her husband bowed and simmered before running off without even a backwards glance at his family that he just sold to pay off his debts.

"Chisaki-kun, please take the Midoriyas to the house. I am sure we will find use for them there."

The boss was being lenient - possibly due to his interest in the quirkless boy - by taking them in at all. Still he had orders, and if these orders allow him rp know more about the perfect being here, all the better.

"Come on, we're leaving now." He ordered. The woman gave him a scared look but quickly scooped up her child, holding him close, afraid they might rip the boy from her.

Kai sighed in response. "We have no intentions on separating you both at this time so don't worry. There's nothing in it for us right now."

The trip to the compound starts quiet, the woman still fearful. Kai sighs. "So tell me about yourself?" At her glare he decides to go first. "My name is Chisaki Kai, and i'm a member of Shie Hassaikai, you?"

"If your boss will allow it, I will be Akatani Inko, former nurse."

"Oh," that man might have actually given him the perfect specimens. "That will be rather helpful. In our line of work, having someone know how to stitch wounds is always a good thing. For the family."

Inko hugged her son closer. "And Izuku?"

Must be the boy's name.

"He should certainly be able to stay with you so long as he keeps out from underfoot."

"My son is well behaved."

"That's good then. Perhaps he can assist you?"
