Kamino is interrupted early in the fight by visitors beyond the stars. Now, heroes and villains could have continued fighting each other but instead they team up because... uh... motherfucking aliens are invading the earth, with their first action destroying a nearby city before coming towards Kamino.

Like, fuck that, AM and AFO might hate each other but murderous aliens trumps that easily.

Just imagine a 1k% United States of Smash obliterating all of the first wave of aliens before their death rays can lay siege on the already broken city and thensome.

AFO pats All Might on the shoulder than shields the powered down hero with his own body as more alien ships approach. "I'll take care of the rest," then he starts combining quirks to start taking them out, a few at a time, flashy and giving Yagi time to make some calls.

The rescue group, Bakugou and the villains start picking off single aliens who drop down from the ships, keeping them from getting close to civilians. Shigaraki complains about how of 𝘀𝘰𝘢𝘳𝘴𝘦 there's got to be an invasion when he's so close to winning. Still he gives Shouto a boost when Izuku yells, giving the other teen the perfect line of sight to do a large AOE glacier. Things look like it's going well until another ship, this one most larger comes above the destroyed city. It's obvs the mothership, flanked by many smaller ones, long tendrils destroying buildings in its wake. Things are looking pretty grim and AFO takes stock of everything as he comes back to the ground. Students and LoV tired, All Might more a liability, unable to transform for the next several hours (he still has the tiniest bit of OFA left and AFO gave him something else when he patted him earlier, not that AM has realized it yet). His arm twitches and black tendrils shoot from him to Kurogiri, forcibly activating the man's given quirk and creating a warp gate. "Tomura, take the students, the league, and All Might out of here. I suppose we will have to pick another day to enact our revenge." He says smoothly, even as he comes closer to where the U.A. students were huddled together with All Might. They all tense as he comes over, making AFO smirk from behind his mask. "Let's get you all back to U.A. and I'll take care of," he waves an arm towards the slowly approaching mothership, "that. But first." AFO turns so he is looking only at Izuku and while they cannot see his face from behind the hulking black metal, his voice is fond. "I'm sorry your mother's surprise party will have to be canceled like this," he murmurs before brushing a caring hand against the boy's forehead. His eyes go wide for a moment before they roll up and Izuku collapses, only saved from a bad fall by Katsuki's quick reflexes. The hero students are in an uproar.

"What did you do!?" Yaomomo yells, already creating a weapon in spite of the fact that she's expended quite a lot of her fat to take down aliens just a bit ago.

"Merely put Izuku to sleep so he didn't aggravate his wounds further." Search has been quite insistent on the injuries he's sustained the last few days. "As well as to return something I probably should not have taken from him in the past, with interest." AFO makes a movement to touch Izuku again but the growl from Katsuki dissuades him with a chuckle. "Go, head back to UA. I'm sure I'll see you all soon enough."

All Might gives his nemesis a look but quickly herds his students away, more quirks than they came there with. It's only after another searching look from Tomura who he shoos away that AFO allows himself to close the portal and face the ever closer mothership.

Hisashi Midoriya was a lot of things. A villain, a monster, a poor husband and a worst father...

But he certainly will make sure that he's not going to let his planet go to some fucking aliens without a fight.

And he'll win because he wants to see his family again.
