Pocky Day

"Hey Mido-chan~" Ashido exclaims as Izuku returned to the classroom during their break between classes. The pink girl urged him over. "Do you know what today is?"

Izuku blinked, and at his confused stare, Ashido sighed. "Pocky Day, it's Pocky Day! Have you done this before?"

"In elementary school," Izuku admitted.

Ashido tossed a grin. "Then you know the rules, let's play!" She put a strawberry biscuit into her mouth and turned her head towards the green haired boy, urging him to play.

The others around them encouraged him as well and with a smile, He put his teeth at the other end. The two nibbled at their halves, staring at each other. Ashido was the reigning champ but Deku could do it!

"Hey Kacchan~" Kaminari singsonged from behind him. Izuku instantly looked up, breaking the pocky much to Ashido's dismay.

"Kami~ you ruined our match!" The alpha hissed. Despite being a beta, Kaminari brushed it off.

"Pssh, I saved you a humiliating defeat because there's no way you'd kiss Midoriya just to win."

"Who the hell would kiss Deku?" Katsuki had made it to the group of students but before anyone could answer, Yamada-sensei came in, making everyone scatter to their seats.

Class went on like normal but during their next break, Katsuki turned in his seat. "Who are you fucking kissing?"

Izuku chuckled, "no one, we were playing the pocky game."

"Seriously? What are you five?"

"Sounds like you probably are bad at it," Todoroki said as he came up to the two, box of pocky in hand. "Want to play Midoriya?"

"Fuck that, I'm challenging Deku first!" Katsuki grabbed the box ("Could have asked.") and took out a stick.

"Get ready to lose nerd!"

Izuku's determined face would have made others pause but Katsuki had seen it almost every day his whole life. He was used to it. The two took their respective ends between their teeth and started to nibble, coming closer. The rest of the class watched with bated breaths, wanting to know who would look away first. They didn't even notice when All Might came in, although the former Pro ended up chuckling under his breath and watched his students go at it. Their lips got closer and closer barely any biscuit left before Izuku flushed hotly and bit all the way through the pocky, losing.

Katsuki's crow of victory made him flush even more as he looked away.

It sucked that everyone was here - maybe if they were alone he could have gotten a kiss for losing like he did back when they were kids.
