Enji is the leader of Endeavor, a tyrant who wants to spread his influence across the cosmos and rule the whole universe. He is one of many such people and while he is a douche, he's an intelligent one who uses both conquest and political marriages to cement his rule.

He has a number of children but his heir apparent is his youngest son Shouto. And every year since the boy turns 10, Enji gifts the child a slave, to do with as he pleases. The first is a boy name Tenya, the son of a minor noble on their home planet, taken by force. Shouto isn't sure what to do with him - he's seen his older siblings (the few Enji acknowledges) with their own entourage but... Shouto doesn't want to hit anyone (his father does enough of that) or make him do his bidding (his father did a lot of that too).

Tenya, tentative but brimming with ideas suggest "how about friends?"

Shouto thinks 4 a moment before shrugging. "I've never had one before."

"I havent either so it would be a new experience for both of us!" They dont tell Enji though, afraid of what he might do if he knew Shouto asks, not demands, things of Tenya

At 11, Shouto is gifted another person by the name of Eijirou. He was an alien from another planet, able to harden his skin and - according to Enji - the best sparring partner he could consider for his son other then himself.

When Shouto asks, Eijirou is at least okay with the idea.

"My planet is poor and my family was in dire straights. For becoming yours they got visas to live in the capital and a pension so why not? Plus it doesn't hurt that you're absurdly pretty!"

A faint flush covers Shoutos features but he gives the other a smile. He's... happy.

12 he is given Inasa. Inasa is prideful and willful and stubborn and doesnt want to be a slave.

Enji: "you're growing well so now it's time to test you. Make this child submit now. Or I'll have him killed."

Shouto doesnt want to, but he wants his father to kill someone his age even less and so they fight. It's awful and vicious and Shouto only wins by blasting a glacier at the other. "Submit, please." Shouto's face his plain but the quiet request gets Inasa to listen.

Shouto thaws him out quickly and they leave the throne room, sending Tenya ahead to get his rooms ready to help warm up the taller boy steadily.

Inasa: "You... really aren't your father are you?"

Shouto grimaces and shakes his head and says nothing more. But Inasa grows on him, taller and broader than Shouto, more than happy to envelop Shouto in impromptu hugs that Tenya, for all that he's his 1st friend, is unwilling to engage due to propriety. Being engulfed like this should remind him of Enji and his training but Inasa's arms are too comforting for such bad associations to reach him. Shouto never asks who he lost when he was taken

When he turns 14, he meets Momo. She is, according to his father, meant to be his bride in 4 years time, kept in a tower on the other side of the planet.

"Nothing like your mother," Enji grouses over his drink, "some days I wish she was more than a breeder, but she was never trained for court. Momo, however will be the perfect wife for you."

Momo grimaces, and Shouto feels for her.

When they are allowed to leave, he promises that she can being whoever she wants with her when she is forced to his side. "Cant let us both be utterly miserable right?"

Days before his 14th birthday, his older brother Touya corners him with his favored harem boy, an avian alien who Touya calls Hawks.

"The bastard mentioned that he has plans for your new slave. He wants to make sure you'll be able to please your 13th gift."

Shou: "..how do you know?"

Tenya: "my brother works in acquisitions and Todoroki-san has been order copious amounts of lubrication and aphrosidiacs"

Inasa: "plus fuyu-nee told us about it last week! We've been talking with Momo-chan to figure out the best way to approach you but it seems you have been informed already!"

Inasa's grin is downright salacious "I do!"

They also find out that Denki should not be around sensitive electrical equipment when they are flying. Thankfully it was close to take off and between Shouto's, Inasa's and Hanta's abilities keep them from a fiery death.

At 16 Shouto gets Mei who designed his present last year and makes him a better - and importantly supposedly Denki proof - ship. When asked if she wants to be with him, all of then, she scoffs. Sex isnt her thing But she watches on occasions and enjoys their pleasure especially when they use the toys that she creates.

16 is a fun year, of growing up, and going further.

But it's also the year that Shouto finds out that Enji chipped his friends and while Mei is positive that it doesn't affect their thoughts, she does admit that if Enji ever thinks one of them are going to betray Shouto, it would be simple enough to kill them from half a galaxy away.

16 is for fun exploration and quiet plotting behind barriers that even his father's spies cant get pass.

16 and Shouto considers what is needed to make his friends free.

At 17, Shouto and his friends get to accompany Enji off planet.

Shouto wants to learn more about the world but all he sees is his father tearing apart families, burning peaceful civilizations to the ground. He's forced to participate and he does... all while in the background Hanta uses his skills to smuggle people out ahead of the carnage, while Iida is a liaison with rebel forces, feeding them Intel to help. Inasa stays at his side, bolstering his power as well as limiting it

On his 17th birthday, they're on some no name planet, up against a coven of witches. They have, according to Enji, been a thorn in his side for too long and it is all Shouto can do to spare the youngest one. Ochako doesnt thank him and he doesnt expect it. But they do, over time become friends and then more. She's full of bubbly excitement when not reigning hexes on their enemies.

It is also at 17, going on 18, when Mei finally cracks the trackers and bombs his father has installed in them all and she's able to disable them with Enji none the wiser.

He's almost 18 when things are going well... and then fate fucks him over

There's a missive from his father a few wks before his 18th bday - ac he is being ordered to the front lines, where the realms of Endeavor is doing battle against One For All, ragtag rebel forces from all sorts of realms who try to push back against Enji's greed. He has no choice but to come, as the fleet his father gifted him would badger him relentlessly if he didn't (Shouto trusts none of his fathers men to stay on his ship, for it alone is for his newfound family). They had just picked up Momo, along with her attendant Kyouka and a shifter named Tooru so at the very least they would make good time to get to Enji.

They arrive days before the "celebration" and Enji smiles.

"Son, tomorrow we shall take a decisive stand against these ruffians and strike a devastating blow. I've found that one of their great generals," he says w/ a laugh, "is an omega from the same planet your blond bitch is from. And with our forces we shall rout their team and put the mutt in his place!"

Enji lays out his plan before dismissing Shouto, who then relays it to his friends. Ochako tenses but he doesn't ask, despite how his curiosity burns to know what she knows.

Instead they wait and plan around his father.

The battle arrives and Shouto is thankful that he could use the excuse that he would feel better that his friends (he calls them his retainers and his father bristles. Corrects him and says slaves) stay on his ship and protect Momo. The only one with him on the field is Eijiriou since his ability to harden makes him the perfect bodyguard, despite Shouto standing slightly taller.

Enji keeps them both at his side, even though the two Todorokis could have turned the fray to their favor rather easily, their powers dwarfing many.

Instead, Enji uses his soldiers like pawns, eyes alit as he tries to find the leader of this band of rebels.

It's only when he can see sparks of green lightning in a mass of flying bodies that Enji moves, beckoning his son to come with. Shouto follows.

The boy in the middle of the carnage looks young, green hair a riot of curls and a blade held in his grasp. Green lightning travels up and down his body, even as he growls at Enji. "Your tryanny ends now, Todoroki."

"No, I think not."

The green haired figure charges, his speed incredible as he dodges his father's lieutenants. Enji smirk seven as he unclips a vial from his belt and threw it at the terrain below. The boy dodges, thinking it was poison only to freeze instead. "W-what wa-"

"We've done quite a bit of research of your species anatomy. Feeling hot yet? We've created weapons to incapacitate your kind. How does it feel to be thrown into a heat so unexpectedly?"

Shouto could see the effects on him, recognizing them from Denki's own heats - the dilated eyes, the flushed face and warm pheromones that was wafting from here. He could see the boy collapse, curling in on himself, body shaking with tremors. The sword he wielded disappeared even as Enji smirked, stalking closer picking up the boy by the scruff of his shirt. The boy keens before coming back to himelf, attempting to kick at the man only to miss as Enji towered so much over him. "Let... me... go!"

"Hmph why should I? I can't believe those idiots would throw a breeder into a warzone. Maybe they expected you to distract all your enemies for your allies to rout them? But instead, I plan to fuck you until you birth me the next generation of fighters to defeat your little friends."

The boy continues to squirm, trying to get away from Enji's large form even in the throes of his heat.

Shouto couldn't take the sight, the thought of his father taking him. "Stop!" Enji turns to look at Shouto. "Let me have him. It's not like he could take you well anyways, he's too tiny." Shouto hates himself for saying that but anything to keep the boy from his father's machinations. Enji considers for a moment before Shouto adds, "he would be the best present - a leader of the rebel forces, added to my bed? It's even more insulting that their supposed best isn't even good enough for our leader's bed?"

That seems a good enough reason and Enji tosses the boy at him and Eijirou, who has to harden to make sure they aren't bowled over. "I expect to see you both in a week's time with that one... properly cowed."

Shouto takes a moment, relieved, even as he tries to sooth the boy in his arms. "Come on, let me get you out of here and we'll see what we can do to stop your heat."
